Wellll….I really did mean to get back before now and give more details on the past few weeks as well as the past week…got pretty busy.
So, anyway here is my weekly update…or what there is of it. Not really much in the way of changes. I think I lost about a pound more or less and measurements seem to be the same or 1/4″ smaller in the waist and a couple other areas. According to my calculations, I was spot on with the calories. Not sure how accurate it is when weighing different types of beef though.
Did 3 weight workouts, 3 cardio, and some miscellaneous yardwork/home projects. Also aimed for maxout pushups a few times, but not the 3 times per day I was supposed to do (because of strength-training, etc).
Will go into specifics later, but it is still strange seeing all of the bodyfat I put on in the last 2 1/2 months. I think I put on about 10 pounds, but 5 would have been plenty. lol From July 30 til the challenge, I ate at least 3000 calories per day, with some days reaching ~5000. (Will explain more later, but my bodyweight was getting too low – arms were embarrasingly vascular. Had lost a lot of fat when I started training with free weights 3 years ago, but lost even more due to a stomach infection this past May. tmi….)
